ASHLAND NEIGHBORHOOD

Above the Boulevard

You will often hear people describe a home as Above the Boulevard. This is anything above Siskiyou Blvd. The closer the homes are to the Plaza in the downtown, the older the homes will be. You will find homes in the late 1800's and moving south along Siskiyou Blvd., homes from the 1940s. Once you near the college the homes are built in the 60's, 70s and 80's. People like this area for the mature trees, close proximity to hiking trails that extend to Lithia Park near the downtown all of the way south to Mt Ashland. Most areas the in hills have beautiful mountain views.
