Skidmore Academy Historic District
The Skidmore Academy District is the oldest residential area in Ashland. Many of the homes were constructed in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Previously featuring larger lots, the lots were divided and "newer" homes have been built over the last several decades. The character and charm of these homes is evident and it's proximity and easy access to Lithia Park and downtown is the main draw.
